1971 - This is the first location of Johnson Textile & Plastic co. Johnson Textile & Plastic co. was founded by Lawrence Johnson and joined by Melvin Johnson ( 1971) in Dallas, Texas . Johnson Textile and Plastics employed 20 people and worked out of a 8,000 sp. ft. facilities which later became Kerick Industries.

1974 - Kerick industries main customers base were company like South Western Bell and government agency like the Army Air Force Exchange, Internal Revenue Service (shown above) Lawrence Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Joanna Johnson main partners .
1977 - Kerick Industries. Specialize in Electronic Assembly, Special Branched Cable ,Complete Systems Assembly, Repair and Refurbishment of Electronic Equipment. Kerick Industries also focus on textile fabrication products like and sand bags , grain bags reusable mail bags and other and other industrial bag sand contract from the military and Internal Revenue Service.

1982 - Kerick Industries was established by Joanna Johnson-focusing mainly on textile products grain bags , reusable mail bags and other bags for industry. This is Lawrence and Joanna Johnson sitting on a stack of sand bags-shipment to the Army Corps of engineers.

1985 - One of Kerick Industries most successful products is the Kerick Reusable mail bag which can be seen to the left. The mail bag was on the GSA Federal Supply Schedule and was made available to all governments agencies Kerick Industries was noted by Black Enterprise Magazine which was doing articles on Husband and Wife Minorities Business, in the April issue of 1984.

2006 - Kerick Industries expand in to Promotional products, Paper Products
